    These are a pair of Foo Dog Candle Holders or could just be the style of the rider's tall hat. They are a ceramic pottery material  with a bronze like metallic glaze.  They are heavy 3.1/2 lbs each. Size 9.1/2" length and 9.1/2" tall to top of hat. I don't know the maker they seem to be one of a kind. Very striking appearance.
