    Description

    Offered is a very old Chinese cast-iron statue illustrating the myth of a running horse trampling a swallow. Supposedly from the Qing Dynasty but that idea is not supported. The piece is 6.2" tall,7.2" long , 2" wide and weighs 1 lb.12 oz. In the beautiful condition shown with obvious age and a lovely patina. Unfortunately the tail was lost some time ago and has not been restored.
