    Description

    This is a very nicely crafted piece of art. I am not an expert of Chinese art but I can tell a good piece when I see it. I scrutinized the piece with a magnifying loop and was amazed at the facial details of the individuals in the picture. Parts of the landscape is definitely woodblock printing while the faces however seem hand coloured. The one thing for certain is that that once you set eyes on it, you just want to see more of it. There is a rubber stamp on the reverse Made in China with what appears to be an export number. The style of the stamp itself would definitely go back to the 60’s which would mean that cultural items that were to leave the country needed to be approved by a government agency and stamped for approval with number for export. Nonetheless it is just a nice piece to see. Densions are 13inches by 12inches
