    Description

    This is a rare
    collectible
Chinese narcissus/daffodil planter. This original style of palette (浅绛彩)
lasted for about 60 years during the second half of the 19th century, and it is characterized by paintings and calligraphy personally done by artists of the time. The artist signed his name (方家珍) in the inscription. It has a production mark of the Tongzhi Reign.
China-based buyers must have a US delivery address
because the Chinese Customs currently sets the maximum value of merchandise going into China at around 0.00, which is absurd.
NO SHIPPING TO CHINA BECAUSE THE CUSTOMS WILL RETURN THE MERCHANDISE BACK TO THE SELLER!
Provenance: This planter was purchased by an American traveler in Beijing in the early 1980s.
    Th

    paintings and calligraphy
is simply superb. There are about nine small chips around the top edges that can be professionally repaired.
