We are delighted to offer this rare vintage pair of beautifully sculpted and painted Jintong pottery figures, Jintong (Golden Boy) and Yunu (Jade Girl); two intriguing characters from Chinese mythology. These mythical figures feature vibrant color palettes and hanging medallions. They are apprentices and assistants of the Taoist Immortals. They measure approximately 9.5” high. The Jade piece represents purity and youthfulness. The Golden boy represents money and wealth. They each hold golden ingot coins. They are both hand painted and are gently used.
