    Description

    Vintage Bronze Statue of a Seated Tibetan Buddha Figure with 4 arms. Tibetan style headgear, cross-legged posture and orb gives us the impression that this is a 'Teaching Buddha'. Teaching Buddhas depict a particular moment in the life of the Buddha, namely, the first sermon the Buddha gave after reaching Enlightenment. This is a statue that is particularly appropriate for those who are either studying or are interested in learning more about spirituality. To be honest - not sure about the extra arms.
    Statue measures 17" Tall, 11" Wide, 7" Deep and Weighs 12 lbs., 2 oz.. Made in India as is written underneath.
    The condition of the statue is Good. There is patina ranging in shades of dusty dark gold. We brushed it clean but did not use anything to affect the patina. There are no missing fingers, crown pieces or anything else.
