Japan Chinese Zodiac Animal Statue 24K Gold Coated Year-1935

Description

On sale is a genuine Chinese Zodiac Animal Statue from Japan coated with 24K gold. This set comprises of 12 animals statues, an original Pine wooden box with cover, two rosewood planks, a description certificate and a history records card in Japanese wordings.
This set is from my dad and according to him, it was a gift from an rich old Japanese friend during his visit to Japan somewhere in the 70s. Well, is it considered an antique? Not sure, but the set was claimed to be a collectible item which was handmade by the local artist and it had appeared in a few exhibitions in Japan the mid 30s to early 40s. As for the condition, there are signs of small popping the gold coating. Please see to the pictures carefully.
