Here we have a stunning nephrite Jade statue of Ho Hsien-Ku holding a Fly whisk. The fly whisk is broken but can easily be glued back into place. It broke cleanly so the piece can be placed back on the statue without falling as shown in some pictures. Aside from that, the condition is excellent. Comes with a wood stand and the original Kwangtung box that it came with. This is a very tall and HEAVY statue made of solid jade. 4 pounds, 12.7 ounces, and over 13 inches tall, 15”+ with stand.
Ho Hsien-Ku is the Chinese immortal woman also known as the Health Goddess. She is one of the Pa-Hsien or eight immortals of Taoist legend. It is believed that she can bring luck, health, and happiness.
