RARE Vintage Nanjing China Mudman Fisherman w/ Basket and  Holding Fish !!!
This is an exquisite piece with unglazed face and hands. It is marked: Made in Nan Jiang China and is numbered 14. Nanjing is one of the Four Great Ancient Capitals of China. It was the Capital of 6 different Dynasties since 3 AD. Its spelling translation has been shown to differ over the years yet it is known as the "Southern Capital" existing along the lower Yangtze River Basin where many a great sculptors and artists flourished.
It measures approximately 7 inches tall by 5 3/4 inches wide by 4 inches deep.
