Make an 4 3/4" tall TEACUP FAIRY doll with this CINDY PRESS MOLD
FOR BEGINNERS!
The CINDY mold is a 4 3/4" girl and can be used for a portrait doll, fairy, mermaid or whatever your imagination will create. She is a 2 part press mold used with polymer clay only. Press the doll, pose her and bake her in a home oven at only 270 degress.
Porcelain or other liquids cannot be cast in this type of plaster mold. It is made of Hydrastone to last for years. No artist mold is perfect, they are hand made so please do not expect them to be flawless like commercial mass produced porcelain or ceramic molds.

Polymer clay is different with every brand and batch that is made.
Sometimes the figure refuses to release from the press mold all in one piece.
My advice is:
Before pressing, lightly dust the interior design with corn starch and then blow it all out.
OR...
Dip the entire mold into cold water for one minute to wet it completely. Remove from the water.
Press your doll into the wet mold. Leave the doll inside the unopened mold and put it in the freezer for about 20 minutes. Remove the mold from the freezer, carefully open the mold and remove your doll but DO NOT try to change her pose for an hour. Let her thaw out so she does not crack when you bend her.
She will sweat off the water and dry out. Now you can play with her!
