    Description

    Selling a vintage 8" Cast Iron Running Galloping horse also known as "The Flying Horse of Gansu".  This cast iron figurine is meant to be a replica of a similar figure found in 1969 by diggers in China and dating to the Han Dynasty (1800 years ago).  Probably a tourist to China bought this figurine there many decades ago (like the 1980's or 90's).  It is painted in many kinds of paint to give it a gilded or antique look.  In very good condition with one small chip on the underside of the out-stretched hoof (see second to last photo).  This very cool horse figure balances on just one foot.  Free standard shipping in the USA.
