    Description

    These horses were hand carved in China, and I believe they are supposed to represent the immortal horses of Mu Wang. Each one is carved from a single piece of wood, with inset glass eyes and a reddish brown stain. All eight have slightly different poses, looking down, up, or back.
    Each horse is about 3-4
    ”
    tall, and the galloping one is 5” long. The figurines are different heights and lengths, but the body sizes are similar. They are in pretty good condition for being wood objects with fragile tips. If you look close in the photos, you might spot some tiny dings, especially on the tips of the manes or ears. The galloping horse has a crack in the wood below on the of the front hooves.  Another horse has a chip abvoe an eye.
