Vintage Chinese Cloisonne Dragon Boat Box.21x5x5" Dramatic.

Description

We bought this impressive piece in the 70s from a friend who was a importer of both old and new Chinese goods.  He was one of Neta's sources for Chinese antiques when she opened her store.  This piece may or may not have been new then. The work is excellent.  Dragon shape, dragon handle on the lid, 3 or 4 dragons pictured in the cloisonne on the lid, and a fish and a turtle and other dragons 'under the water' on the bottom section below the lid.
The head and tail are gilded as are other parts of the piece.  The brass scales on the underside of the neck and tail are not, as shown in pics 12.    Scales under the tail are similar to those on the neck in pic 12.
No writing on the bottom. I ran out of pictures, so I am telling you that the bottom is solid blue enamel like the insides
21" long, 5" wide and high.  An ideal piece for a mantle, sideboard, sofa table, as a centerpiece, or to keep something in.  Let me know what you think.
