Vintage Chinese Emperor & Empress Figurines, Intricately Carved Resin

Description

Bases are 4" Round and included in following heights
Empress measures approximately  13" tall
Emperor measures approximately  14" tall
The statues have no visible nicks, scratches or repairs.
I
make no representation of the composition of these pieces.
They may be made of resin or something more valuable.
The simulated wooden bases show stress cracks (see photos) That
may have been added to the bases to simulate wood.
These are replicas of items that were originally sculpted
of authentic ivory elephant tusks.
They have been in my
family for over 60 years.
