Vintage Chinese Pottery 5" Glazed Ceramic Horse Figurine Tang Dynasty Style

Here is a vintage 5" x 4.5" x 1.5" glazed ceramic horse figurine which appears to be the style of the Chinese Tang Dynasty (618-907) artwork.  These statues were made to stand on a ceramic base, and this one's base is 2.5" x 1.5" x 1/4".  The style of the saddle is unique and this one has a slightly green shade on it.  The cream-colored mane is also typical of this style and so is the small extended tail.  This dark brown fellow seems to have his tongue out which is apparently rare according to my research.  His belly has a hole on the bottom showing that he is hollow.  Figurine is in very good condition with minor surface wear and no cracks or crazing.  There are no marks on this one, but he is most likely rather old, though I doubt he is over 1000 years old.  Most likely he is a replica made sometime in the 1900's or earlier, but that is just a guess.  He is a lovely specimen of this type of long-ago art style from China!
