Vintage Heathkit model AK-7 Mobile Communications Speaker - Working

Description

For your examination is this working Heathkit model AK-7 Mobile Communications Speaker.  This can be used in a fixed-station environment also.
The original voice coil has been replaced with a Pioneer TS-44 40 Watt 4 Ohm unit.  This is certainly overkill since most communications speakers are one watt or less. But I guess you need that extra power of you want to hear anything while cruising down the highway at 75 in your 'Vette with the top down. /s
Tested using an audio generator over the typical communications range and it sounds fine, no buzzing or dead spots.
I repaired some dodgy solder connections, added a proper strain relief to the cable and replaced the back cover screws with new ones.
Interface is via a 72 inch cable terminated with a 3.5 mm plug.
Dimensions: 5 X 5 X 2.5 inches not including the bracket.
Condition is good, some paint chipping from use, no dents.
