Vintage Japanese Warrior Decorated Horse
1940's
This was given to me as a gift for my Horse Collection from my Dad's special friend in the 1970's.
I am now downsizing and would love to pass this on to a collector.
It reminds me of the "China Doll". I loved horses not dolls so I received a  "Japanese Horse".
No issues that I can see, it has thin material covering it, giving it an appaloosa coloring.
The saddle is quite intricate Japanese dress material, the front and back of the saddle and stirrups is made of light material clay or wood and painted in a shiny black and red paint.
The bridle, chest and hindquarter covering is an orange nylon or cotton material, the orange is most likely faded. The horse was not in the sunlight when I had it. Mostly kept in a closet in a dry non odorous home.
The tail and mane is white and appear to be like synthetic wig hair.
Mussel and hooves are pained with a white paint not sure if they are clay or wood.
JAPAN sticker on the bottom of the horse.
