Description
Vintage Laughing Buddha / Budai with young boy figurine. I have also read that this figurine is called Fat Buddha.
Made by G Novelty Co., Japan, circa 1950s.
Although this is most likely ceramic, it has a soapstone feel to it.
I found no damage and feel it to be in excellent condition.
It measures approximately 5” high and 4” across the bottom.
Solid white.

My home is smoke free, but I cannot attest to any previous environment.  We have 3 rescued cats (that I wouldn’t trade for anything).
They have their own playroom and are never, ever allowed in my work room.
