Beautiful hand painted Chinese Mud Man, Shao Lou (Shao Xing), Immortal God of Longevity Statue with a Boy Holding a Giant Peach of Immortality. The Robe is Stunning Combination Glaze of beautiful rich colors. The artist payed wonderful attention to details especially in the faces where they created great character and expressions. The figures have unglazed heads and hands. Shao Lou has long white glazed beard and holds a staff in one hand and a peach in the other. Stands 7 1/2” inches and is in excellent condition! No chips or cracks.
The name SAN-XING means ‘Star Of Long Life’. He is old and bald, and always carries a Golden Peach of Immortality from XI-WANGMU’s Holy Peach Garden.
